I provide thorough psychiatric assessments that look beyond symptoms alone, incorporating mental health history, medical factors, life stressors, and patterns over time to develop an accurate diagnosis and individualized care plan.

When appropriate, I evaluate biological and lifestyle factors that influence mental health, including sleep, nutrition, stress physiology, inflammation, and metabolic health, to better understand root contributors to symptoms.

I offer evidence-based prescription medication management with an emphasis on thoughtful selection, careful dosing, and ongoing optimization to maximize benefit while minimizing side effects.

I utilize clinically appropriate laboratory and genetic testing to assess factors such as nutrient status, hormone balance, metabolic function, and medication response, helping to guide more personalized treatment decisions

I provide guidance on evidence-informed supplements and nutritional strategies that support brain function, nervous system regulation, and overall mental wellness, tailored to each individual’s needs and sensitivities.

I work collaboratively with patients to develop sustainable lifestyle changes — including sleep optimization, stress regulation, movement, and daily routines — that strengthen resilience and support long-term mental health.

I began working in the mental health field in 2011 as a crisis counselor, an experience that deeply shaped how I practice today. Being present with individuals during some of their most vulnerable moments reinforced the importance of meeting people where they are, without judgment, and creating space for safety, trust, and growth.
I was born and raised in Maryland and now live on the Gulf Coast, where the water has become an important source of balance and perspective in my life. Outside of work, I enjoy running, boating, traveling, reading, and spending time with my husband, our two children, and our two dogs. I also love going to Disney with my family and catching a Dave Matthews Band show whenever I can.
These personal experiences inform how I care for my patients — with curiosity, collaboration, and attention to the many factors that influence mental health. Our mental wellbeing is so much more than our necks up; every part of us influences the rest.
